The Commission of Inquiry into State Capture is now hearing an application brought forward by the Commission’s legal team head, advocate Paul Pretorius to postpone the evidence of former Independent Police Investigative Directorate chief, Robert McBride.
McBride was set to give his testimony at the Commission underway in Parktown in Johannesburg on Monday.
The commission was also scheduled to hear evidence from former Kwazulu-Natal Hawks Head, Johan Booysen on Thursday, but there is also application to postpone his evidence.
McBride was expected to implicate at least 30 people in his evidence, some of those hold high office in government.
