Delegates at the African Economic Platform in Mauritius will on Tuesday debate the competitiveness of the African businesses.

On Monday business called on leaders across the continent to create a conducive climate for business from the capital of Mauritius, Port Louis.

Challenges such as integration, free movement of goods and people are some of the issues they will have to find solutions to.

Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe rebuked big economies on the continent for dragging their feet in resolving the problem of free trade.

As the conference comes to an end, delegates will adopt resolutions on how to fast track economic development in Africa.
