Kaizer chiefs played to an 1-All draw against Polokwane city at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.

Maritzburg United’s relegation woes have intensified after a 3-2 away loss to the high-flying Cape Town City at the Athlone Stadium. United are still on 14 points after 21 matches, with just two wins so far this season.

The Team of Choice have now played two games more than the 15th placed Free State Stars.

City led 3-1 at some stage before Fortune Makaringe reduced the deficit.

Meanwhile, the match between Polokwane City and Kaizer Chiefs ended 1-1 at the Peter Mokaba Stadium, in Polokwane.

Amakhosi grabbed the lead from the penalty spot through defender Daniel Cardoso, but Amakhosi’s joy was short-lived with Walter Musona equalising for the home side six minutes later after another goalkeeping blunder by Daniel Akpeyi.
