MAP | Russian troops advance towards Kyiv

Russian military troops are advancing towards Ukraine’s capital Kyiv, targeting strategic locations in their move towards taking over the capital. Various attacks have been reported by both Ukrainian military personnel and government officials.

As the attacks intensify across Ukraine’s landscape, reports of people fleeing for the borders and long traffic queues have been identified, with the city of Lviv in the western border towards Poland expected to see an influx of refugees.

On Thursday, air raid sirens were sounded in Lviv for the first time since World War 2.
