The Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital will be launching its annual Golf Day fundraising event at Randpark Golf Club in Johannesburg on Tuesday.

The fundraiser is in part an effort by the hospital to try fulfil Madiba’s dream to provide quality healthcare for children of Southern Africa.

CEO of the Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital Mandisa Maholwana says there is still space for more participants to support the cause.

Maholwana said, “So we’ve had quite a number of people registering to join us for [the event] and we’re excited about that. But we do still have a few more spaces left for golfers if they would like to join us and also for the gala dinner in the evening. So all the information is available on the hospital website, so there’s been quite a lot of interest.”
