Rugby commentator and former Springbok wing, Khaya Malotana, believes that the Springboks will miss Cheslin Kolbe when they take on Wales in a Rugby World Cup semifinal in Yokohama, Japan on Sunday.

Kolbe has been ruled out of the team due to an ankle injury. He has been replaced by Sbu Nkosi. This is the only change to the team that beat Japan, 26-3 in the quarter-final.

Malotana, who was a member of the 1999 Springbok World Cup team, says as much as Nkosi is a good player, Kolbe is a special talent.

“Cheslin Kolbe gives players around him a lot of confidence because he has a heart for the size of the body he has and the way he throws it around; the way he runs and chases, tackles, goes up in the air. It gives other players confidence that they can be physical. Cheslin has that X -factor. He has been able to create opportunities,” says Malotana.
