Dismissed Chippa United Coach Dan Malesela says he was hoping for something better this season.

Fired Chippa United Coach, Dan Malesela is struggling to come to terms with his dismissal by the club boss, Siviwe “Chippa” Mpengesi.  Mpengesi, who has a reputation of hiring and firing coaches, sacked Malesela, three matches into the new season.

United have lost their opening two matches and drew in the last encounter. He realised after Sunday’s two all against Black Leopards that his days in Port Elizabeth are numbered.  Malesela was dismissed via an e-mail on Tuesday.

“I was hoping for something better this season. So it was not meant to be. Yeah what can you do? You cannot force people to have you around when they don’t want you but it’s quite an embarrassment for being given three matches, other people go on and on for me three matches.”
