Julius Malema, a Member of Parliament and the leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), addresses members of the party outside the Bloemfontein Regional Court after his appearance on a charge of inciting illegal land occupation on April 6, 2018.

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader, Julius Malema, has encouraged his supporters to claim back their land. He was addressing a rally in Thembalethu in George in the Southern Cape.

Malema didn’t mince his words when talking about the controversial land expropriation issue.

He told hundreds of supporters that no one respects people who are propertyless.

“How do u say we are wrong by asking people to go and occupy what is rightfully belonging to them. It is your property. I can’t say to you go and occupy your house and I’m told I’m doing a wrong thing. The land belongs to you, you must continue to occupy, it’s your land.”
