Julius Malema conducted door to door visits in Barkley West.

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema is addressing a party rally in Barkley West in the Northern Cape shortly. Malema is in the province to canvass for votes ahead of the national general elections next month.

Earlier, Malema conducted door to door visits in Barkley West.

He visited Mama Voster, a 82 year old, who was happy to see him. Mama told the Malema that he is the first leader to visit this area #CICinNorthernCape pic.twitter.com/QHrpwXHjt4

Residents had this to say about his visit:

“We are very proud. He is the first leader to come to this place so we are proud. We can see now there will be changes,” says a resident.

“I hope now in my life there will be better life and for all to be better,” adds another resident.
