Makhanda school excels at choral music competition

A local township school in Makhanda, formerly known as Grahamstown, is making a name for itself in Choral Music in South Africa.

A choral duet from Nombulelo Senior Secondary School has won the 19th ABC Motsepe National Schools Choral Eisteddfod held in Johannesburg.

The competition comprises of top choral schools around the country with an aim of providing same equal opportunities to township schools.

The competition has been endorsed by the South African government to embrace culture and promote diversity amongst schools in South Africa.
