Learners at the Magigwana Secondary School at Thulamahashe in Bushbuckridge, Mpumalanga, have committed to maintaining the 100% matric pass rate that was achieved last year.
The learners made the commitment during Education MEC Bonakele Majuba’s visit to the school.
Majuba visited the school as part of preparations for the final exams that start next week.
Some learners already see themselves at institutions of higher learning next year.
“From March I have been cross-nighting every day so I don’t see why I am not going to make it. I am 100% sure that I’m going to make it and pass with distinction. I wanna go to Medunsa and do Pharmacy. If I don’t go to Medunsa I’m going to Stellenbosch to do medicine,” says a learner.
Parents, please continue to support your children as they prepare to write their final exams #Matric2021
