Magashule is facing fraud and corruption charges relating to the multimillion-rand asbestos project while he was Premier in the Free State.

SABC News has reliably learn’t that suspended ANC Secretary-General Ace Magashule has been kicked out of the NEC virtual meeting.

He is suspended in line with the governing party’s step aside resolution which says all members facing criminal charges must temporarily step aside until their matters are finalized.

Magashule is facing fraud and corruption charges relating to the multimillion-rand asbestos project while he was Premier in the Free State.

According to his suspension letter, Magashule is not allowed to participate in any organizational activities pending the conclusion of his case.
