The late Hip Hop star HHP, real name Jabulani Tsambo, was again honoured at the annual Mahika Mahikeng Hip Hop show known as the Maftown Heights Friday night.

Maftown Heights has been held at its home of origin Mahikeng for the second time this year.

Well-known Motswako stars like Fifi Cooper, Khuli Chana and Tuks Senganga and the friends of Motswako, including Ricky Rick, were among the perfomers.

Playing to a large crowd, the musos pulled out all stops, and delivered their best. Hip Hop artist Cassper Nyovest also made a surprise appearance at the show.

Those who worked alongside HHP like Fifi Cooper and Emtee, say HHP’s legacy must be carried forward to develop more artists in his honour.

“I am so happy you know to be at the Maftown Heights, I have always attended this show from the first show and I like the fact that it is in honour of my brother HHP,” Fifi Cooper said.

“You know Motswako hip hop is one of the strongest pillars of SA hip hop on its own, so I’m just honoured to be here to celebrate Motswako in Maftown in honour of HHP,” Emtee said.
