Deputy President David Mabuza will be in Gqeberha, in the Eastern Cape, on Friday to lead the ‘Return to Play: It is in Your Hands” campaign.

The campaign seeks to encourage people to get vaccinated in order to make it possible for social events including sporting events, festivals and concerts to return to normal.

The campaign has been launched in four provinces.

Since the launch of the campaign in Gauteng, 2000 spectators were allowed in the World Cup qualifier game between Bafana Bafana and Ethiopia.
