The opening batter of the South African women’s cricket team, Lizelle Lee has been named the 2021 ICC Women’s One-Day International Cricketer of the Year.
She scored 632 runs in the 50-over format last year, averaging a whopping 90.28 in 11 matches.
It included five half-centuries and an unbeaten century as she helped the Proteas to second place on the ICC Women’s ODI Rankings.
Lee also tops the Women’s ODI batting rankings ahead of Australia’s Alyssa Healy and Mithali Raj of India.
