President Cyril Ramaphosa is addressing the 8th Access to COVID-19 Tools (ACT) Accelerator Facilitation Council virtual meeting.
The ACT Accelerator was launched in April 2020, in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and as a global collaboration that brings together governments, scientists, businesses, civil society, philanthropists and global health organisations.
The Council aims to accelerate the development and production- as well as equitable access to COVID-19 tests, treatments, and vaccines.
