Minister of Public Enterprises Pravin Gordhan together with Eskom’s top management, including CEO Andre de Ruyter, held a media briefing on challenges faced by South Africa’s power utility. In recent weeks, Eskom has been implementing load shedding schedules across the country as we prepare for the upcoming local government elections.
Earlier on Wednesday, the power utility issued a statement where it said that it would implement stage four load shedding until Friday.
