Veteran broadcaster Bob Mabena died on Monday from  cardiac arrest at the age of 51.

His career, which spanned more than three decades, started at Radio Bob when he was 19 years old.

He worked at Metro FM, Kaya FM, Highveld Stereo, and PowerFM.

Mabena will be laid to rest on Saturday. The funeral will be livestreamed on SABC News.
