The Eastern Cape Liquor Board has closed three liquor outlets in Gqeberha due to non-compliance with trading conditions.

The liquor outlets were closed over the weekend during a blitz operation between the Liquor Board and the Metro Police.

A total of six liquor outlets were visited during the operation to check compliance.

“ We will not hesitate to take  action against those Liquor Traders that are violating the trading conditions. We also wish to urge members of the community to please report, any cases of non-compliance, to the nearest police station or to the Eastern Cape Liquor Board,”adds Siya.
