Lindiwe Mabuza an illustration and a fine cultural activist: Naledi Pandor

International Relations and Cooperation Minister Naledi Pandor has described the late ambassador, Lindiwe Mabuza as illustrious diplomat and fine cultural activist.

Pandor has also sent message of condolences to the ambassador’s family.

Mabuza joined the ANC in the 70’s and in post apartheid South Africa. She served in various diplomatic postings including United Kingdom.

The late ambassador Lindiwe Mabuza has been hailed as an accomplished diplomat, poet and author, who also once served in the ANC’s Radio Freedom in Lusaka, Zambia in the 70s.

International Relations and Cooperation Minister Naledi Pandor says South Africa has lost an impeccable representative, cultural activist and freedom fighter.

Ambassador Lindiwe Mabuza was bestowed with the order of ikhamanga for her contribution in art fraternity and for using it to raise awareness about the atrocities of Apartheid.

Recently, she served in the foreign policy review structure.

Meanwhile, Mabuza’s passing has seen message of condolences expressed far and wide.
