Limpopo woman arrested for murdering 2-year-old son

A 40-year-old woman has been arrested for the murder of her two-year-old son in Tshifhulanani village outside Thohoyandou in Limpopo.

It is alleged that the toddler’s body was found at the entrance of the house next to his mother in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Police spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe says preliminary investigations have found that the mother is linked to the murder.

“A two year old toddler was allegedly killed by his own mother in the early hours of this Wednesday morning, around 2am. The suspect will appear before the Vuwani Magistrate’s Court soon to face a charge of murder”.
