Unknown suspects burned an office building and seven vehicles at a taxi rank in Kgapane outside Tzaneen in Limpopo.

The police are investigating a case of malicious damage to property after suspects burned an office building and seven vehicles at a taxi rank in Kgapane outside Tzaneen in Limpopo.

The police spokesperson Malesela Ledwaba says a security guard noticed the fire on the premises on Saturday morning. He says officers have launched a manhunt for the suspects.

According to Ledwaba, the vehicles are worth over R2 million.

“The police in Bolobedi are investigating an incident in which seven vehicles including Texas, as well as a building were dented down when the fire broke out at a taxi rank on Saturday night. Currently the cause of fire is not yet established. We are appealing to anyone with information that can help police in preventing the suspects to contact Colonel Botha who’s available on the number 0824692937 or crime stop number, 10111, or the nearest police or MySAPS App.”
