Limpopo police confiscate dagga worth thousands

Dagga with an estimated street value of R250 000 as well as cash and a vehicle have been confiscated in Limpopo.

Two suspects have been arrested in Groblersdal and Polokwane respectively.

Police spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe says the suspects will be charged with drug dealing.

“The fight against drug dealing and distribution was this week taken to another level when two suspects were arrested and large quantities of dagga confiscated in an intelligence driven operation which were simultaneously conducted in Groblersdal and Polokwane,” says Ngoepe.

“During this arrest, we recovered large amounts of dagga and cash. The arrested suspects will appear before the Groblersdal and Polokwane Magistrate’s Courts soon.”
