A Limpopo female pencil artist is taking South Africa by storm with her awe-inspiring artwork.

22 year-old Bono Siaga from Luheni village, outside Thohoyandou, aspires to own an art gallery and create employment.

Young, talented and passionate, Siaga – a business management graduate – uses art to express her deepest feelings. She says her passion for art started when she was 14 years old. At the time, she was grappling with lack of self-esteem.

Her latest drawings include the late Nelson Mandela, Winnie Madikizela-Mandela and President Cyril Ramaphosa.

YouTube has also been helpful in honing her skill. Siaga says after completing her studies in tertiary, she tried sewing and agriculture before deciding to re-ignite her passion for art.

Siaga uses pencil, colour pencil and acrylic to do and refine her artwork. She wants her work to be distributed across the world. She also says that she would like to own an art gallery in the next five years and market her art throughout the world.

The artist is ready to impart her skills to other who are willing to learn from her.
