Limpopo nominates Ramaphosa as preferred ANC president

Deputy president Cyril Ramaphosa has been nominated as the ANC’s presidential candidate for Limpopo province.

Ramaphosa has received 391 branch nominations, while the next best was Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma who was  nominated by 104 branches. About six hundred delegates are attending the PGC in Polokwane.

Ramaphosa is being deputised by Lindiwe Sisulu who got 189 branch nominations; Gwede Mantashe has received 384 for the National Chairperson position, and Paul Mashatile has been nominated as the preferred Treasurer General for the ANC.

The delegates who are attending the provincial general council applauded the outcomes.

Meanwhile, additional members have also been nominated.
