The women rights groups, political organisations and ordinary people are chanting, ”no bail”, outside the Seshego Magistrate’s Court near Polokwane in Limpopo where a suspected serial killer is expected to appear. A 34-year old suspect is expected to apply for bail.

The bodies of seven women were found dumped in different locations in and around Polokwane. The victims aged between 25 and 48, were killed between August and October this year.

Some of the protesting residents say the court must deny him bail.

“We are protesting here at Seshego Magistrate’s Court Polokwane because of the guy who slained our women and he is used to that because the same thing happened not only in Polokwane, but also in Botlokwa. A rapist and a killer. Please we are praying now as Limpopo women, this has been happening and we think it is for the first and the last, we are appealing to the Magistrate’s Court to please treat this case with care,” says a protestor.
