The suspects are facing charges related to armed robbery, attempted murder, and possession of unlicensed fire arms among others.

Seven suspects who allegedly robbed the SBV security guards of an undisclosed amount of cash outside Polokwane in Limpopo were arrested on Monday night.

A joint operation by various law enforcement units led the police to a house in Seshego Township where the seven suspects were apprehended.

Rifles, ammunition and bags of money were also recovered.

It’s believed that about ten suspects made off with the cash during the heist.

The Hawks spokesperson Matimba Malulekle says two vehicles with bullets holes were also recovered.

The vehicles were reported stolen in Gauteng.

Police say more arrests are imminent.
