The 81- year-old anti-apartheid struggle stalwart passed away in Johannesburg on Monday.

Lesotho’s Basotho National Party(BNP) and it’s leader Thesele Maseribane have paid tribute to late struggle stalwart, Winnie Madikizela-Mandela.

BNP is part of the four party governing coalition in Lesotho.

Calling her a dear comrade, mother, leader and true liberation activist, Maseribane says the people of South Africa and the world at large will never forget her.

Although he is Lesotho’s Minister of Communications, Maseribane has penned a letter that he says is in his own capacity.

He says mama Winnie will always be remembered and her spirit will continue to guide and inspire struggles for freedom everywhere.

He says with her spirit South Africans should continue to promote Human Rights, liberate and unite South Africa and address poverty and corruption.
