The Lesotho government has rubbished claims that Ajay Gupta is in the country and that the Prime Minister is hosting him at State House.
Lesotho Government Secretary Moahloli Mphaka says government is aware of these reports and will issue a statement to assure South Africa of its full cooperation.
Mphaka says the Lesotho government has alerted its National Security Services to investigate the allegations that Gupta is in that country. He has also assured South Africa of his government’s full cooperation.
Lesotho Prime Minister Tom Thabane gave the Gupta brothers diplomatic passports which were revoked by his successor Pakalitha Mosisili.
Mphaka says government is aware of these reports and will issue a statement to assure South Africa of its full cooperation.
