Lephalale TVET college principal, Lekau Mamabolo says it is difficult to run the institution without funds from the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS).
Mamabolo says, “The students are applying online and as the college we do not have control over warding them bursaries. NSAFAS must evaluate the authenticity.”
He says the matter does affect the college, “We have a cash flow this does not only affect benefits, we do not have money for tuition, we do not turn the students away it does not only affect the benefits for transport and accommodation but also for affect the running of the college.”
