Learners in Qwaqwa join march against gender based violence

The marchers are holding placards written "gender based violence must fall".

Hundreds of learners from Phuthaditjhaba schools in Qwaqwa have joined a march by men and boys calling for an end to violence against women and children.

The march is being led by Free State government officials to Charles Mopedi stadium.

An interactive dialogue will also be held to discuss issues of gender based violence.

The marchers are holding placards with the words “gender based violence must fall”.

Minister of Women in the Presidency Bathabile Dlamini will deliver a keynote address at the event.
