More than 25 riders have been given a rousing send-off this morning as they embark on a motorcycle-trip around the country to do community work. All in the name of the Nelson Mandela Day 67 minutes campaign, which advocates South Africans to use some of their time to do good in theircommunity and towards those less fortunate

The bikers arrive in Harrismith and spread the love. A home for abused and vulnerable children at Harrismith in the Eastern Free State, Hope House has received a facelift. Bikers for Mandela made their first stop at the home to do humanitarian work in honour of the former South African president. They donated blankets, clothes and food and painted the centre.
