The African Union will be commemorating 50 years since the formation of the Organisation of African Unity (OAU). The celebrations, which are themed “2013, Year of Pan-Africanism and African Renaissance”, will begin in Addis Ababa on May 25, and will be followed by a year of celebrations across the globe.
