African National Congress (ANC) Provincial Chairperson in Limpopo Stan Mathabatha says the issue of expropriation of land must be dealt with in a politically mature manner.
Mathabatha was speaking at the ANC Special Provincial General Council in Polokwane.
A Parliament Review Committee has embarked on a road-show country-wide to listen to oral submissions on whether land should be expropriated without compensation.
Mathabatha says the issue of land is critical, “The land question this comrade must be handled with a very sober and political matured way. The land question comrade is one of the things that caused the African National Congress to be formed. I believe comrades understand the importance of land all economic production is taking place on land that makes land very critical and important. The land question is part of us as the African National Congress.”
