The Isicathamiya group Ladysmith Black Mambazo has visited the founder of the group Professor Joseph Shabalala at his home at Ladysmith in the KwaZulu-Natal midlands to present their fifth Grammy Award to him.
The group visited Shabalala early this year at his home, asking for his blessing after they were nominated for the Grammy Award.
Members of the group say they felt it was important to officially update him about the award and their three-month tour of the USA.
Formerly the leader of the popular group, Shabalala retired some years ago due to illness.
