KZN Premier distraught by recent taxi killing

KwaZulu-Natal Premier, Willies Mchunu says he is distraught and saddened by the latest taxi-related killing in the province.

In the latest incident, the Deputy Chairperson of the Klipriver Taxi Association and his bodyguards were ambushed and killed in Ladysmith in the midlands.

In the last two weeks, 18 people have died in incidents related to taxi violence.

Speaking on AM Live, Mchunu says it is tragic to lose so many lives in one industry. He says police are following leads and no arrests have been made regarding the latest incident.
