KZN braces for lengthy rains, SA Weather Services warns

Residents should brace themselves for rainy weather conditions across KwaZulu-Natal from this afternoon until the middle of next week.

The South African Weather Service Forecaster, Aslam Sardiwalla says there will be scattered showers in most areas especially along the coast.

He urged people to be cautious especially those who will be driving on the roads during this period.

“From this afternoon on Saturday we are expecting isolated showers and thunder showers across most of the province, particularly over the south western areas, we are expecting scattered thunderstorm across the province from Sunday.”

“We expect the affect from the cold front and we got mostly cloudy to partly cloudy conditions across the province with warm temperature with isolated showers forecast over the interior but scattered along the coast particularly mornings and evenings and Monday remains cloudy with isolated showers and Tuesday similar conditions resist into Tuesday”, says Sardiwalla.
