Kwaito artist Sello Coutha also known as Mr K, started singing from an early age where he was part of a group that performed and entertained the youth in his area, in hope to end crime and substance abuse.
Coutha hails from Kwakwatsi in Free State. The Kwaito artist later decided to venture into a solo career where he released his first demo ‘Kwetja’.
Coutha says the reason he chose Kwaito is that Kwaito never dies, “Kwaito is something that brings you to kasi.”
Coutha who seeks to motivate young people says he is passionate about social justice issues including substance abuse.
