Kuruman matriculants to write exams in 2015

About 17 000 Kuruman learners’ studies were disrupted after road protests prevented them from going to school 2014.

Learners missed six months of schooling when local communities held protests demanding a tarred road linking them to the towns of Kuruman and Vryburg.

The affected matriculants are expected to rewriting their final examinations 2015.

Community members in five villages prevented learners from going to school as they demanded a tarred road linking them to the N14, which leads to Kuruman and Vryburg.
