The Klein Karoo National Arts Festival held annually in Oudtshoorn has been cancelled amid growing concerns about the spread of the coronavirus.
In a statement, management of the festival says it will not continue as planned from 23rd to 29th March.
Statement by Klein Karoo National Arts Festival:
They say the decision was not taken lightly and was done in consultation with health authorities, the municipality, sponsors and other stakeholders.
Artists and festival-goers who have already purchased tickets and suppliers will be informed of the way forward soon.
