This facility normally accommodates 290 adults with a concentration span of about an hour. They do physical activities such as soccer, cricket and netball. Some have even taken part in the Special Olympics.

The residents need winter clothes, blankets, towels, shoes and food. Yonder also needs seven DVD players for its 13 hostels.

Yonder also needs seven DVD players for its 13 hostels.

On July 15, the Kimberley News team will donate their time and some
money so that Yonder can buy some DVD players. They plan on engaging
with the people at the centre in some sporting activity.

You too can help – email SABC at touchnglives@sabc.co.za. Or contact the center directly. Help make a difference in someone’s life.
