African National Congress national communications manager Khusela Diko has been appointed as President Cyril Ramaphosa‘s new spokesperson. This has been announced by the presidency.
In a statement released, the Presidency says it’s pleased to announce the appointment of Diko as spokesperson to President Ramaphosa with effect from 12th March 2018.
They describe Diko as a seasoned communicator and marketing professional.
Diko will replace former Presidential Spokesperson Bongani Nqgulunga.
Since the departure of former President Jacob Zuma, Tyrone Seale was acting in the spokesperson position. Seale has been the President’s spokesperson when he was still Deputy President following the passing of Ronnie Mamoepa last year.
