Makhosi Khoza has been invited by Metsimaholo Community Association (MCA) to spearhead the formation of new national civic organisation soon with the intention of wrestling power from the ANC in 2019

Former African National Congress (ANC) Member of Parliament Makhosi Khoza may have found a new political home after being booted out from the governing party for being defiant.

She has been invited by Metsimaholo Community Association (MCA) to spearhead the formation of new national civic organisation soon, with the intention of wrestling power from the ANC in 2019.

She was addressing members of the MCA and the community at Refengkgotso in Deneysville in the Free State.

The MCA led the Metsimaholo municipality in a coalition before the municipality was dissolved.

Khoza has strong words for those who call themselves leaders in the country especially her new home MCA.

“When they are going there they must never forget that they are going there not to represent themselves, but to represent the people and that is not negotiable. Moral and ethical leadership is not negotiable, again people must understand to be a councillor is to be a people representative, to be a member of parliament is not an employment, it is a calling.”
