Alfred Maggoeddie was speaking after a meeting with the PAC in Kimberley to discuss how groups that have been dispossessed of their land can regain it.

Khoisan leader in Kimberley, Alfred Maggoeddie believes that unity between the Khoisan Community and other organisations such as the Pan Africanist Congress of Azania (PAC) will boost their call for land redistribution.

He was speaking after a meeting with the PAC in Kimberley to discuss how groups that have been dispossessed of their land can regain it.

This follows the National Assembly’s passing of a motion earlier this year for land expropriation without compensation.

Maggoeddie says it’s important for the Khoisan and others to campaign peacefully for land redistribution.

“We do not want fighting, we don’t want to grab and damages, we are people who are very negotiable. We must now go all the provinces and go preach this gospel because we must get common ideas, common sense and common level, we do not want differences, that is how we are going to be listened to,” says Maggoeddie.
