Kevin Anderson of South Africa is through to the round of 16 at the Rogers Cup.

Fourth seed Kevin Anderson of South Africa is through to the Round of 16 at the Rogers Cup Tennis tournament in Toronto Canada.

Anderson beat Russia’s Evgeny Donskoy in three sets in a second-round match.

Meanwhile, Rafael Nadal will face Stan Wawrinka of Switzerland in the third round.

The top seeded Spaniard raced past Frenchman, Benoit Paire, in the rain-delayed second round.

Paire admitted before the match that he did not expect to beat Nadal and the world No.: 1 showed just why he is considered unbeatable by many.

Although Paire provided a little more resistance in the second set, Nadal always had the upper hand.

The world No.: 1 finally needed just 74 minutes to record a 6-2, 6-3 win and set up a clash against three-time Grand Slam champion, Wawrinka.

2nd seeded German, Alexander Zverev also took no prisoners in his clash against American, Bradley Klahn.

The Citi Open champion secured a 6-4, 6-4 victory in 75 minutes And will face Russian, Daniil Medvedev next.

19-year old Denis Shapovalov was the only Canadian to advance. Shapovalov beat Italian 14th seed, Fabio Fognini 6-3, 7-5.

9th seeded Serb, Novak Djokovic, is also still on the winning path.Djokovic, who is aiming for a fifth Rogers Cup title…
Defeated Canadian wildcard, Peter Polansky 6-3, 6-4.

A mouth-watering clash between Djokovic and Greek teenager, Stefanos Tsitsipas, now awaits.
Tsitsipas upset French Open finalist and 7th seed, Dominic Thiem of Austria 6-3, 7-6.
