Kenya’s opposition demands removal of electoral commission

Kenya’s opposition coalition, National Super Alliance (NASA), will start demonstrations early Tuesday to demand the removal of electoral commission officials.

This is among the conditions set by the opposition for participating in fresh presidential elections on October 26.

The Supreme Court of Kenya nullified the August 8 elections following what it termed “illegalities and irregularities” committed by the electoral commission.
