Kenyans defy Odinga boycott order

Kenyans have ignored the opposition’s call for a work boycott and have returned to their workplaces three days after Uhuru Kenyatta was declared winner of the Presidential elections.

Opposition leader Raila Odinga on Sunday called on Kenyans to stay home on Monday and await directions on the next move after he rejected the outcome of the polls.

Sporadic protests in select opposition strongholds have led to the deaths of an unknown number of people.
