Kenya will be making history on Friday by deploying its first locally made satellite into space.

This has economic potential for Kenya, enabling earth observation, food security mapping, monitoring the environment, and disaster management among other things.

Meanwhile amid these events, Rwanda hosts its 2018 Transmit Africa Summit.

Victor Kgomoeswana, author of Africa is Open For Business, speaks on Kenya and why South Africa should look towards the east African country.
