Kaizer Chiefs’ shotstopper Brilliant Khuzwayo was linked with the move the Citizens for the past few months following lack of game time at Naturena.

Tim Sukazi has confirmed that Brilliant Khuzwayo’s move from Kaizer Chiefs to Cape Town City didn’t materilise because the player prefers to stay in Gauteng.

Chiefs’ shotstopper has been linked with the move to the Citizens for the past few months following lack of game time at Naturena.

Sukazi also represents Mamelodi Sundowns‘ trio of Thabo Ntethe, Mogakolodi Ngele and Asavela Mbekile.

“These players have not been active. In other words, they have not seen much game time at Mamelodi Sundowns, which pushes us to find a new home for them because they are god players, and it does not help us or them when they are not active. So, they need to play. So, we are talking to one or two clubs about them. And I’m sure in a week or two we would have concluded the move,” says Sukazi.
