Justin Rose defends his Turkish Open title

Justin Rose of England has successfully defended his Turkish Open title in Antalya. It took a playoff against Chinese Haotong Li for Rose to clinch the title, and with that, move to number one in the world.

 

Rose looked to be in full control for most of the round. Until Li eagled the 15th to transfer some pressure onto Rose.
This pressure told and Rose bogied the last two holes and both players finished on 17-under-par.

Li had a chance to close it out on the first playoff hole after Rose missed his birdie putt. But it wasn’t to be, as the Chinese golfer missed his birdie and the par putt to hand the title to Rose. Thomas Aiken was the best of the South Africans
